Press accreditations for the Final Gala of Miss Wheelchair World 2017

On Saturday, 7 October, at 7:00 p.m. (Arena Ursynów, 122 Pileckiego St.) we will meet the mostbeautiful girl who will win the title and the crown of Miss Wheelchair World 2017. The accreditation procedure has just been initiated. Registration is open till 25 September this year.


Journalists interested in the media coverage of the Gala are asked to send their accreditation applications by 4 October , 4:00 p.m., to the following e-mail address: (as the subject, please enter: Miss Wheelchair World 2017 – Accreditation for the Gala). Please provide the following information in your application: name of the editorial office, journalist's name and surname, function (editor, photographer, camera operator, sound technician), e-mail address, and contact telephone number.


Journalists who will be granted press accreditations will receive confirmation by e-mail by 5 October. Due to the limited number of available places, the Press Division of the City of Warsaw reserves the right to limit the number of journalists attending the event.

Media representatives will be provided with aerial platforms and audio press boxes. The details concerning the press services will be given in our next announcement.


Accreditations will be issued in Arena Ursynów on the day of the event (7 October) between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.

The Miss Wheelchair World contest isno ordinary beauty pageant. It is an international manifesto of women's rights, their independence, their opportunities for self-fulfilment and their self-esteem, no matter where they live, how they move around, or what their social status is. The objective of the event is to change the image of people with disabilities, to challenge stereotypes and views and fight discrimination, not only in Poland but worldwide. The event is also aimed at integrating and facilitating the exchange of knowledge on the mostrecent scientific and medical achievements.
